The history of Chateau Figeac dates back to the 2nd century. The Figeacus family gave the chateau their name.
It was the Manoncourt family, which has owned the estate for over 125 years, that shaped the unique character of the Chateau Figeac wines of today.
The chateau has undergone massive innovations in 2015-2020 including its winemaking and hospitality facilities.
The vineyard of Chateau Figeac is one of the most unique on the Right Bank given the unusually high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, which is more typical for the Left Bank.
