Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe
The story of Chateau Franc Mayne began in the 16th century, when it was welcoming the pilgrims on the Santiago de Compostela route.
The chateau is only 1 kilometer away from the village of Saint Emilion. It took its name from the adjacent “Cote de Francs” appellation.
Seduced by the charm of this property and the breathtaking landscape, the Savare family purchased this small winery in 2018.
Personally involved, the new owners have been able to create a wine with a strong personality that reflects the richness of the terroir, and is environmentally friendly.
If you are planning to visit to Saint Emilion wineries, do not miss Chateau Franc Mayne. The chateau offers an excellent wine tourism program including a visit to its impressive underground cellars.
Recently beautifully renovated, the chateau has a small winery hotel, the Relais Franc Mayne, overlooking some of the most precious vineyards of Bordeaux and the Dordogne River valley. Imagine a glass of Saint Emilion wine from a pool with a breathtaking view…
