Chateau Pichon Baron
The winery accepts visits every day during the summer season between May and October and on the weekdays during the winter months. The appointment is necessary.
Besides classic and prestige tastings, you can opt for a vertical tasting of the estates best vintages.
This Medoc chateau is the 2nd Grand Cru Classe winery.
It has the most impressive castle, in addition to the historic plot that has been producing wines since 1694(!).
The estate has a deep-rooted legacy of family ownership, with the Pichon Longueville family at the helm until 1933.
Since 1987, the winery is owned by the insurance company AXA.
