Chateau Petit Village was founded in 1785.
Through its history it was owned by several families involved in Bordeaux wine trade, AXA insurance, and since 2020, by two French families also owning Chateau Beauregard across the road.
Chateau Petit Village wines are notable as they have the highest proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in Pomerol, the area planted predominantly with Merlot.
Chateau Petit Village will be an excellent stop on your tour of the Right Bank Bordeaux wineries.
