One of the stars of Saint Julien appellation. This chateau was born in 1840 and acquired by its current owners the Cuvelier family in 1920.
Wines of Chateau Leoville Poyferre are known for their balance, finesse and elegance. The winemakers combine innovative techniques and traditional barrel ageing method. There is a focus on biodynamics.
The winery is developing 50 hectares of vines, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon.

Open certain Sundays in the summer.
