About
The estate takes its name from Connétable Talbot, the English General and Governor of the Province of Guyenne who was defeated in the Battle of Castillion in 1453. It is one of the oldest wineries in the Medoc area.
Since 1918, the chateau is owned by the Cordier family. The wines of Chateau Talbot and complex and well-balanced with typical for the Medoc, prevalence of Cabernet Sauvignon.

By appointment.
Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm, and from 2 pm to 5 pm;
Friday till 4 pm

Classical Tour :
Discovery of the estate: a place full of history, with a 110 hectares vineyard in
one block, and technical facilities with impressive architecture. The tour will
end with a tasting of our 2 red wines, Château Talbot and Connétable Talbot,
from the same vintage.
Duration : 1h – Price 15 € / person
Visit « Discovering the gardens » :
After a classical discovery tour of the property, we invite you to access the private green spaces of the estate,
the Château’s grounds, and its vegetable garden. The visit will end with a tasting of our 2 red wines from the
same vintage, Château Talbot and Connétable Talbot.
Duration : 1h30 – 35 € / person – 6 people maximum (from April to September)
Prestige Tour / Vertical Tasting :
After a discovery tour of the estate, we invite you to make a trip
back in time through a tasting of 3 great vintages of Château Talbot:
2016, 2009, and 2000, as well as Château Talbot Caillou Blanc 2018,
our precious white wine.
