Chateau Villemaurine, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe is one of the closest to the town of Saint-Emilion.
The name first appeared in the 7th century when the Moors set up a camp at a site initially called Ville Maure, which eventually became known as Villemaurin.
Today, the chateau is owned by the Onclin family.
By appointment.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to the underground cellars dug in the limestone plateau under Saint Emilion.
