Remarkable architecture

Monday to Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm

Sunday: 10 am to 2 pm

All visits are by appointment.

Languages: Spanish, English.

Visits are held Monday through Sunday and cost 15 euros per adult and 5 euros for kids. The winery closes Monday and Tuesday during July and August.

Be sure to visit the cellars that are a true architectural wonder. However, if you are short on time, you can drop in for a quick 20-minute tour of the “vat” and a tasting which will cost 6 euros.

There are lunch, brunch and picnic options at the winery, and even a children’s workshop while you are on a tour. Please make sure to pre-order these options.

The winery is fully accessible for people with disabilities.

CVNE also owns Bodegas CVNE in Haro and Vinedos del Contino nearby, which also offer guided tours and various activities.

The Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE), launched the Viña Real brand in the 1920s. The winery takes its name from the old Camino Real passing nearby.

On a hill called the Cerro de la Mesa, sits the winery building in the shape of a huge fermentation vat. Designed in 2004 by French architect from Bordeaux Philippe Mazières, the winery also includes two aging cellars dug inside the hill.

At Vina Real CVNE follows the philosophy of a balance between tradition and modernity. The winemaking process uses gravity to avoid pumping and the negative impact it has on the wine.

Many of the Vina Real vintages have been given 90+ points by wine critics.
