Bodegas y Viñedos Viña Mayor is located on the “Golden Mile” of Ribera del Duero, the most prestigious area of the appellation, on the banks of the Duero River.
Viña Mayor, one of the first wineries to be part of the DO Ribera del Duero, is led by winemaker Almudena Alberca, Master of Wine. Ms. Alberca leads the technical team since 2015.
The estate obtained Wineries for Climate Protection Certification which recognizes its efforts to conserve habitats, traditions, and viticultural practices in the face of climate change.

a year agoA little over a month ago, a group of friends and I visited that winery. At first, it was like almost all the other renowned and prestigious wineries I've visited, but thanks to Tatiana and our own charm, we won her over, and it turned into one of the most fun visits I can remember. Tatiana treated us wonderfully and taught us a lot of interesting things about the world of wine in an unforgettable way. A big hug to Tatiana, you're excellent!!!
