Winery Lunch at Quinta da Marcela

We got engaged at Quinta da Marcela and it was the most wonderful experience I could ever dream of. While I was not involved in the planning of it, Carmo went above and beyond in helping my fiance plan the most magical afternoon. She set up the patio to be incredibly picturesque, made a bouquet of flowers that was out of a design magazine, and provided an amazing array of snacks, wine, and cake for us to enjoy! Everything felt so personal and curated for us, I could not dream of anything better! The wine was also AMAZING and we plan to serve it at our wedding - Carmo even offered to make custom labels with pictures from the engagement :). For anyone who is considering proposing to their significant other at Quinta Da Marcela, you will not be disappointed! For anyone who is coming just for the wine, you also will be very happy ;)

What a warm welcome we had from Carmen and her son Diogo at La Quinta da Marcela for our wine and tasting of local dishes! The sausage, cheeses and bolinho de bacalao were perfect for the warm afternoon. We also had a delicious ginger /pea soup. All Paired with wonderful wines ranging from white, rose to a grand reserve red. It was a perfect afternoon at a family run vineyard. The drive was stunning through winding narrow roads in the vineyards. Would highly recommended the experience.
