In 1984, Rita Tua and Virgilio purchased a property that they named Tua Rita.
Over the years the owners extended the hobby vineyard of only two hectares to current 30 hectares.
Tua Rita’s Super Tuscan wines have gained international fame and have been given the highest points by wine critics. In particular, the 100% Merlot Redigaffi wine. Its 2018 vintage has been named one of the “Top 100 Wines of 2020″ by James Suckling.
