Established in 1989, Bodegas Remírez de Ganuza is in the center of Samaniego, Álava.
The founder, Fernando Remírez de Ganuza, from the outset, followed the idea of being as true as possible both to the vintage and the vineyard. He ensured a rigorous grape sorting process and minimal interference in the preparation of the wine. Over the years, new techniques have been introduced for crafting and aging.
The vineyards are made up of more than eighty hectares of tempranillo, viura and malvasía grapes. They are spread out over six plots in the Cantabrian mountain range: Samaniego, Leza, Elciego, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Laguardia and Abalos.
Guided tours Monday to Saturday, holiday included: 10.30 am and 12.30 pm.
