Quinta Maria Izabel covers 130 hectares of one of the most privileged areas of the Douro region.
Brazilian businessman Joao Carlos Paes Mendonca bought a vineyard, named it after his wife Maria and Brazilian queen Izabel. The winery turned into a great project with excellent wines.
The winery focus on dry wines (red, white and rose) but also produces vintage port.
