About
Quinta do Tedo is nestled just off the picturesque N-222 road, where the Douro and Tedo rivers meet, between Peso da Régua and Pinhão.
This estate holds a prestigious Single Quinta classification, the Portuguese equivalent of a Single Estate, similar to a French Grand Cru. Since 2011, Quinta do Tedo has been certified organic.
Owned by the Bouchard family, originally from Burgundy, France, the estate houses a beautiful bed & breakfast as well as the gastronomic restaurant Bistro Terrace.

At Quinta do Tedo, you can taste exceptional ports, red wines, and olive oil while soaking in the breathtaking views of the Douro and Tedo Valleys. The comprehensive tour includes a visit to the terraced vineyards and olive orchards, as well as a walk through the port and red wine production facilities.
You can also enjoy flights of port and red wines in the beautifully renovated 18th-century tasting room, which overlooks the Douro River.
For a more relaxed experience, consider a picnic in the garden with views of the Douro River.
