The vineyard of Quinta da Foz consists of 22 hectares of old vineyards on steep slopes with an average age of over 80 years. More than 30 grape varieties are planted at Quinta da Foz, with the predominant varieties being Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz.
This small winery started its history in 1872 and was a part of the Calem port wine house. In 2014, the estate was acquired by young wine maker Filipe Ferreira.
