Quinta da Côrte is a small winery near Valença do Douro, offering fantastic views.
The Quinta covers 24 hectares; its plots, mainly planted in terraces and patamares on northerly or north-easterly exposures. Today, Quinta do Côrte produces dry wines and Port wines.
The winery, along with the 19th-century house purchased by Philippe Austruy.
Visits
Wine tastings are available from 10am to 4pm. You can just visit the quinta or participate in the the entry-level or a premium tasting. Programs such as walks in the vineyard, winemaker for the day and picnics are also available.
Various locations around the Quinta are available for picnics, lunches, and dinners prepared by from local products by the Quinta’s chef.
The Quinta has a hotel with an outdoor pool and stylish interiors created by a famous designer Pierre Yovanovitch.
