CVNE
About
CVNE, which stands for Compania Vinicola del Norte de Espana, or the Wine Company of the Northern Spain, was founded in 1879 by Real de Asúa brothers.
The fifth generation of the family still runs the winery.
Bodega CVNE is located in the Haro famous Train Station District.
CVNE Imperial is a signature wine of the bodega. First made in 1920, Imperial uses grapes from the company’s best vineyards. The Imperial cellar is an independent winery inside the original CVNE winery.
It is a must to taste Imperial when at CVNE. There is an Imperial tour which includes tasting of this iconic wine with an appetizer of Spanish cheeses and ham.
Among other wines, CVNE produces an organic label, a young style Rioja.
