Comenge

Bodegas Comenge was created in 1999 when Jaime Comenge started working on his dream to make wine with an idea to express the vineyard in the purest and most genuine way and winemaking philosophy based on innovation and research.

With these ideas in mind, the vines at Bodegas Comenge are grown using 100% organic methods, while the winery maintains a low production level with a focus on exceptional quality.

The 32 hectares of the Bodegas Comenge vineyard are positioned on the slopes of Curiel and Pesquera de Duero, between 780 and 880 meters above sea level.

Grapes are picked by hand, which is the first step to guarantee the quality of the wine.
After the fermentation, wines are left to evolve always in oak barrels and then aged in bottles.
