About
1855 Grand Cru Classe – 3rd growth
Jean Desmirail gave his name to this chateau as he married an heiress of the Rausan family in the 17th family. The château belonged to the Desmirail family until just before the 1855 classification.
Denis Lurton took over the management of Château Desmirail in 1992.
The elegant 17th-century manor house, a typical Margaux vat room with wooden vats and interesting roof structure make this chateau unique.
