Known from the 17th century, the estate extends over more than 550 hectares (1300 acres).
During the 19th century Monsieur Mathieu Seurin built the castle, stables, an aviary, and a water tower. The chateau changed hands, however, it was no known as a winery until early 20th century when a gravel-sand vein was discovered near the pond, and 6 hectares (15 acres) of vines were planted.
In 2007, the estate was acquired by Philippe and Chantal Miecaze, who restored the chateau and have been working on creating beautiful wines including reds, whites and rose.
The winery offers a wide variety of experiences by appointment.
