Chateau Dauzac
About
5th Grand Cru Classe 1855
Chateau Dauzac is the first one you will see on your right when entering the Medoc wine country. It is surrounded by an elegant park and vines.
The oldest known owner of the estate’s land in Margaux was Pétrus d’Auzac who received it from Richard I, “Richard the Lionheart”, King of England.
Since 2019, Chateau Dauzac is owned by Christian Roulleau, the head of the Samsic Group, a company in business services, and managed by Laurent Fortin. The winery is known for its innovative approaches in winemaking and investments in biodiversity.
Chateau Dauzac offers an extensive menu of visits and tastings. Besides a regular guided tour, you can participate in wine and food pairing workshops, wine-making workshops. There is even a beekeeping class for kids!
