Bodegas Hermanos Pérez Pascuas
About
Viña Pedrosa is in Pedrosa de Duero in the Spanish province of Burgos.
In 1980, the Pérez Pascuas siblings decided to find their own winery, pursuing their dream of making top-quality wines and keeping the long tradition of the family winemaking alive. Viña Pedrosa is now a world-renowned winery involving two generations of enthusiastic wine connoisseurs.
The 120 hectares of vineyards at extreme elevation, on shallow, limestone-rich clay soils, with low rainfall and a large diurnal temperature range are all key to achieving top quality grapes. The vineyard is primarily comprised of goblet-pruned old vines of the native variety Tinto Fino. Viña Pedrosa only uses natural fertilizers of animal and plant origin. Wines are aged in French and American oak barrels giving the average annual production of 600,000 bottles.
