Baigorri

Bodegas Baigorri is an outstanding example of integrating architecture with the landscape.

A glass cube structure of the winery with 7 underground floors was designed by Iñaki Aspiazu, a renowned Basque architect.

At Baigorri, have a glass of wine with views of vineyards and Sierra de Cantabria mountains.

The winery offers tasting accompanied by gastronomic cuisine at the Baigorri restaurant. Kids menu is available at the restaurant as well.

The grapes for Baigorri wines are grown using sustainable agriculture methods. The winery is built in the way that allows use of gravity through the winemaking process. This way, grapes are handled carefully, their qualities are better preserved, which results in wines reflecting the natural terroir.

Baigorri does not only produce classical Rioja style wines, but also interesting monocepage (one grape variety) and single vineyard wines, such as the wines made from old vines planted as early as 1942.
