Located near San Casciano in Val di Pesa, just half-an-hour drive from Florence, this is the place where some of the best wines in the world are made.
The Antinori family has been in winemaking since 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild.
This winery, Antinori nel Chianti Classico, was constructed in 2012. It was designed to have a low environmental impact and is practically invisible giving priority to the beautiful Tuscan landscapes.
Today, the Antinori family owns several estates in Italy including the famous Tenuta Tignanello, as well as interest in estates in the Napa Valley (Antica, Stag’s Leap), Washington State, Chile, Romania, Hungary, and Malta. You can encounter the Antinori family wines in the wine shop and can taste them at the bar.
