About

The Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE), launched the Viña Real brand in the 1920s. The winery takes its name from the old Camino Real passing nearby.

On a hill called the Cerro de la Mesa, sits the winery building in the shape of a huge fermentation vat. Designed in 2004 by French architect from Bordeaux Philippe Mazières, the winery also includes two aging cellars dug inside the hill.

At Vina Real CVNE follows the philosophy of a balance between tradition and modernity. The winemaking process uses gravity to avoid pumping and the negative impact it has on the wine.

Many of the Vina Real vintages have been given 90+ points by wine critics.
