About

Castello di Volpaia takes its name from the charming Volpaia village.

Winegrowing in the village have started as early as the 11th century. The vats and cellars, the bottling plant are still housed in basements, palaces and churches of the village connected by underground paths. You will see all those during your guided visit!

The tasting room is one of the most impressive I have ever seen.

At the shop, you can buy anything from wine, to olive oil and wine vinegar.

Osteria Volpaia will welcome you for some Tuscan cuisine.

Lodging is possible at ancient farmhouses, one on the edge of the village and the other surrounded by nature two kilometers from Volpaia.
